Mochitao

Optional: see your agents' states with Herdr

If your host runs Herdr, Mochitao shows which agents are working, waiting or done — and tells you when one needs you.

Step by step

  1. Install Herdr on the host

    Follow Herdr's own instructions on your machine. Mochitao installs nothing on your machine.

  2. Open a shell and run herdr

    Connect as usual and start herdr in the shell, or put it in the host's Command on shell open so it starts by itself and comes back after a drop.

    $ herdr
  3. Read the five states

    Working, Blocked, Done, Idle and Unknown — each one drawn as a shape and a word, never colour alone.

  4. Switch agents with a swipe

    On a Herdr tab, a sideways swipe moves to the next agent. The herdr key opens the sheet of sessions on that host.

  5. Turn on notifications

    Get a notification when an agent starts waiting and when it finishes.

Good to know

  • No Herdr, Herdr with nothing to report, and a full Herdr are three different levels — none of them is an error.
  • Agents run as panes inside one Herdr tab; Mochitao focuses the pane you pick rather than opening a tab per agent.
